Mythbusters Initiative

ACT-IAC is continuing our work on Mythbusters by helping to identify the top ten industry-friendly contract strategies.

We have identified a number of specific strategies, and we are collecting more to offer a broad-based industry view of the top ten ideas. Please add your votes and your insights, as well as new initiatives to the discussion. ACT-IAC will provide these results to OFPP for their consideration.

        Orals are very expensive for Industry, and time consuming for all - too expensive for smaller jobs. Anyone have ideas for shorter/quicker orals?

        Just please provide sufficient time to gather the team and prepare meaningful presentations. Agree orals are great for services where the govt wants to meet the team. Must be cautious to ensure experts don't show up, only key personnel and corporate mgmt.

        Oral presentations and/or product demonstrations are great ways to evaluate within the competitive range. They allow the government to interact with proposed key persons, as well as get a feel for any solutions that are bid.
